PACKAGING TIPS

Find a suitable, durable, cardboard box that is approxamately 4 ft. x 1 ft. x 5". In most cases a box this size accommodates both front forks and rear shocks. This type of box,(used for shipping light bulbs and such), can usually be found for free at your local hardware store!!

You can also make a cardboard box yourself, just ensure it is quality cardboard, and that you seal it well. Constructing a wooden box is an option that adds extra protection to your $1,000+ components, but the weight of wood will increase the price of shipping.

Whichever packaging option you decide to use, make sure you use lots of bubble wrap or paper to individually wrap the components in. Doing so will help in protecting against possible shipping damage.

Even well packaged components should be insured.
